Our Structure
-
Badminton
The Outlaws is split into two key areas:
Academy for all young people where we run four levels of coaching:
County which is invitation only where the best young people in each group form the squad to represent the county of Nottinghamshire in the national county "Shires" leagues.
Academy - Futures
For our future stars, this level is for our younger players just starting out learning about the game of badminton and wanting to improve their racket and footwork skills. We coach the fundamental skills in these sessions - giving them the correct building blocks to progress on to harder, more complicated drills and learning.
Academy - Intermediate
Developing the techniques and skills set of the kids further, with an expectation that the players at this level will also be entering national age group tournaments relative to their ability.
Academy - Advanced
The best payers in the county, working at Silver and Gold standard tournament play, form the basis of this squad - which is held at county level opposed to the regional level.
Academy - Elite
By invitation, taking the top players and working with them and other players outside of the county and senior players.
COUNTY
