2nd U12 Match Away at Leicestershire

Nottinghamshire’s Under 12 county team headed to Leicestershire today (6th Jan 2019) and came up against an established and strong opposition resulting in a 20 – 0 defeat. We were close to winning a couple of sets and our players again showed skill, determination, teamwork, friendship and fairness.
Our squad is forming and growing with Breanna and Michael representing their county for the first time. Everyone in the team played well and held their head high – which is clearly demonstrated by the post-match photo

A big thank you to Matt Stacey for travelling to Leicester to be with the team and providing great coaching support.
It was a again a pleasure to watch our youngest stars play, there were really good rallies and shots!
Squad members who either could not play or where not selected, will be considered to join the fun in future matches; our next challenge is at home (Joseph Whittaker) against Cheshire on the 20th January 2019.
