First Match for Notts U12 County Team

Nottinghamshire’s youngest members played great badminton against a strong Warwickshire team on Sunday 25th November @ Home (Joseph Whittaker). Whilst the scores (9-1 to Warwickshire) reflected Warwickshire’s experience, our players excelled in skill, determination, teamwork, friendship and fairness.
We had good results and scores too, with a decisive rubber win and 4 three game rubbers and some tense “either way” games. It was clear that the team enjoyed the battle and gained confidence throughout the day.

It was a pleasure to watch our youngest stars play. Squad members who either could not play or where not selected, will be considered to join the fun in future matches; our next challenge against Leicestershire on the 6th January 2019.
